The atmosphere at Bristol Parkour is very friendly, encouraging and social, but also determined, strong and focused. We always support one another, and welcome and advise newcomers. Bristol Parkour meet on Saturdays, but there are also a smaller group who train all throughout the week. There isn’t, however, a set time or place where this group meet, so if you are interested in training with the group on one of the days, you are welcome to contact us. Apart from Parkour, there is also a large culture of strength and fitness training here at BPK. At a jam, we will all be training both Parkour and our bodies, bodyweight conditioning and strength training, as well as helping and encouraging each other. |
We are also associated with the trickers and freerunners in Bristol. And indeed a large amount of BPK do some tricking and freerunning themselves. After Saturday jams, the older members of Bristol Parkour socialise and gather around places in town, also going to each others houses to chill out, and occasionally going to parties and gigs as well. |
